Westwood Elementary School will celebrate its 50th anniversary on Thursday, December 12th from 5:00 – 6:30 pm with events for teachers, students, parents and alumni.  This is a night that we will honor past alumni and provide our current faculty and staff a blast from the past with special tributes of the different decades.  Our guest will be able to meet past principals and teachers as well as view student displays made by each grade level honoring different decades.   Our library will be highlighting a variety of books that also represent the different decades as well as our yearbooks that dates back to the first year our school was established. Everyone in attendance will be able to write a message that we will be putting in a time capsule that we will open during the next 25 year anniversary.  We will end the night with a reception in our cafeteria as a thank you to all the alumni that provided Westwood with 50 years of educational excellence. We hope you will be able to attend this very special event.
