About Me

Minimize

My name is Erin Wallace and I am the Speech-Language Pathologist at Woodview Elementary School. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders from Baylor University in 2012. I then went on to receive my Master of Science degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders (special emphasis on Speech-Language Pathology) in 2013 from Baylor University.

My husband's name is Andrew, and we have been married since January 2015. We have a Boykin Spaniel named Hank who keeps us very busy! We love to cook, watch movies, travel, and spend time with both of our families. This is my 2nd year in Spring Branch ISD, and my 3rd year working in the public school setting. I previously worked in a private practice for preschool-aged clients, as well as the hospital setting in acute care/ICU.

In graduate school, I became proficient in a number of areas within Speech-Language Pathology. I served as a therapist in the Neurorehabilitation Clinic working solely with stroke patients, gained experience in preschool-aged children in Baylor's general Speech and Language Clinic, and spent a semester in the Literacy and Learning Clinic working with school-aged children with articulation and language disorders. I also have experience with hearing impairments, fluency disorders (stuttering), apraxia of speech, neurologically-based speech impairments, cognitive impairments, and dysphagia (difficulty with swallowing).

I absolutely love Speech-Language Pathology and all of the different areas it contains! Please feel free to contact me for more information.
