Prekindergarten Program for Three-Year Olds

Our school offers a half-day educational program for children who reside in the Spring Branch attendance area and will turn three years old on or before September 1, 2017.

School Hours: 7:30 A.M.-11:00 A.M. or 11:55 A.M.-3:35 P.M

Eligibility

To be eligible to attend children must meet one of the following Texas Education Agency criteria:

  • Limited proficiency in English
  • Economically disadvantage (Eligible for free or reduced lunch program)
  • Homeless
  • Military family
  • Foster care

Transportation

Parents are responsible for student transportation to and from school. There will be no bus service provided for this program.

Enrollment

Enrollment is for the entire year and begins on the first day of school. Once enrolled, state compulsory attendance rules apply.

Prekindergarten Program for Four-Year Olds

Our school offers a full-day educational program for children who reside in the Spring Branch attendance area and will turn four years old on or before September 1, 2017.

School Hours: 8:15 A.M.-2:15 P.M

Eligibility/Tuition

All four-year old children may attend prekindergarten in Spring Branch ISD.  The District does not charge tuition for those children who meet one of the eligibility criteria established by the Texas Education Agency:

  • Limited proficiency in English
  • Economically disadvantaged (Eligible for free or reduced lunch program)
  • Homeless
  • Military family
  • Foster care

For those prekindergarten students who are not eligible in one more of the categories described above, there is a tuition charge. The tuition is $595.00 per month payable for nine months. A non-refundable registration fee of $50.00 will also be collected.  Tuition scholarships are available and will be evaluated individually.  Call 713-251-6100 for more information.

Transportation

Buses are available to transport children to and from the school. Teaching assistants ride the buses with the children to ensure their safety.
