Ms. Peck grew up primarily in Louisiana. She and her husband Doug moved to Houston in 2000 and selected this area based on the Spring Branch ISD schools. An attorney who practices primarily in the area of employment law, Ms. Peck has long been active in her community, having served as president of two local PTAs and her homeowners' association as well as on the board of trustees of her church, St. Paul's United Methodist. She has also previously served on the board of Writers in the Schools. Additionally, she is one of the founding directors of TAMSA, Texans Advocating for Meaningful Student Assessment.
Ms. Peck graduated in 1984 from Tulane University with a B.A. in Political Science and obtained her J.D. from Yale Law School in 1987.
Ms. Peck and her husband have two children, both now in college, who grew up in and graduated from Spring Branch schools.

Mrs. Goodson is a former Spring Branch ISD educator. She taught at Wilchester Elementary, Bunker Hill Elementary and worked as the Administrative Intern at Memorial Drive Elementary. Mrs. Goodson is on the Board of Directors of the Spring Branch Education Foundation, where she has chaired the Run for the Arts event for two consecutive years.
Mrs. Goodson and her husband Doug have two children, both attending Spring Branch ISD schools.

Ms. Dawson attended Spring Branch ISD schools and graduated from Stratford HIgh School. As a former SBISD teacher, she taught at Housman Elementary and student taught at Hunters Creek Elementary School. As an active SBISD volunteer, Ms. Dawson has held various leadership positions on a school and district level that include local PTA president, president and treasurer of the Spring Branch ISD Council of PTAs, and executive board member of the Spring Branch Education Foundation. She has also served on the SBISD Finance Team, District Improvement Team, Volunteer Advisory Board, Customer Service Task Force, Employee of the Month Committee, and Teacher of the Year Committee. As an active community member, Ms. Dawson coaches an Odyssey of the Mind team, serves as a Girl Scout Leader, is a past officer in her homeowner's association and remains active in the Junior League of Houston. Prior to teaching, Ms. Dawson worked for the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, Houston Branch as a library administrator and public affairs specialist.
Ms. Dawson and her husband, Lane, have three children who attend Spring Branch ISD schools.

J. Carter Breed

Mr. Breed grew up in Spring Branch and moved back
to the area so his children could benefit from Spring Branch schools and the
community. Mr. Breed is a long-standing Executive Committee Member of the Spring Branch
Education Foundation. He has served on
the FFA Buyer’s Committee, the Bond Committee, the Bond PAC, the
Frostwood Campus Improvement Team, has been a member of numerous PTAs, and has
supported SBISD schools and programs financially. Mr. Breed and his wife have three daughters, two of which
attend Spring Branch schools, and one that graduated from Texas A&M

Ms. Gonzalez earned her MBA from Rice University and holds Bachelors’ degrees from Baylor University in Waco. She has taught middle and high school history, and she has also worked in benefits and human resources at Hewitt Associates and Baker Hughes. Ms. Gonzalez currently serves as the marketing and public relations director for KIPP Houston Public Schools. Ms. Gonzalez resides in SBISD with her husband and their four children.

Mr. Schaper is a retired Spring Branch ISD administrator, principal and teacher who continues to serve children as an educational consultant and community advocate. He is a dynamic contributor to the Memorial Spring Branch Rotary Club and East Spring Branch Food Pantry. He is Treasurer and Business Manager for his church and Chairman for the American Cancer Society Neighborhood Fund.
Mr. Schaper and his wife, Ruby, are the proud parents of four children, all SBISD graduates. One grandchild is currently enrolled in SBISD, and two are SBISD graduates.

Ms. Vierra is a founding member of Spring Branch Speaks, a SBISD neighborhood grass-roots legislative network, served on the 2012 SBISD Budget Task Force, and has held various local PTA chair positions including two years as Treasurer.
Ms. Vierra and her husband have three children, all whom attend Spring Branch ISD schools.
