Community in Schools (CIS)

SWMS counselors and Community in Schools staff provide support and services to parents, faculty and staff, partner with community agencies and make referrals as needed. We provide mental health services such as individual and group counseling, academic enhancement, parent involvement activities, and social service referrals. We can provide resources to students and/or family. Social service examples include homelessness, housing assistance, basic needs, mental health services, medical services, job search, meal/food assistance, and uniform assistance. We collaborate and partner with many community agencies to provide the best services for our students.
