I am very excited to be back in Tiger Country as the Principal for the upcoming school year. Our teachers are caring professionals dedicated to challenging students to be their very best. It is our goal that each student leaves Spring Woods High School as a critical thinker ready to dream big and prepared to live those dreams. We have some exciting events planned to ensure a smooth start to the upcoming school year, please consider getting connected with the school via social media, PTA, or by staying up to date with our website to help yourself continue to feel connected to the incredible SWHS Community.
The unique experience your child will receive as a member of our culturally rich school community will be one that strengthens and builds upon your child’s gifts and strengths. Your child will be exposed to new and exciting ways of thinking and learning. As the school continues to grow and evolve, we are very proud of our SWHS scholars and what their futures hold. I hope that you will look into various ways to get connected to Spring Woods High School and I look forward to working with you as a partner in your child’s development.
Personally, I have been blessed to have a very rewarding and fulfilling career in Spring Branch. I have taught at both Memorial Middle School and Spring Forest Middle School before joining the SWHS Administrative team in 2008. While at SWHS, I served as both a grade level principal and as the associate principal. In 2013, I became the Director of Westchester Academy for International Studies; while there, we saw many great successes due to the collaborative spirit of our community and the exceptional work by teachers with kids. I look forward to returning to Tiger Country to continue to support he work that is being done here for Every Child. I have been married to my husband Nathan Collier for 12 years and we have two beautiful children, Jackson and Allie who you will often see running around and getting involved in events here on campus.
Again, I look forward to watching your child grow and achieve great things.
