Link to SUMMER ASSIGNMENT 2017

AP United States history is a rigorous and challenging course that prepares the student for the College Board’s examination. It is a two-semester survey of US history from exploration to the present. Lecture and group discussion are methods used to disseminate essential knowledge. However, the key to this course is reading. All students are expected to read analytically and critically. Students are then expected to answer analytical objective questions and become proficient in writing essays with or without documents.

The AP Human Geography course is equivalent to an introductory college-level course in human geography. The course introduces students to the systematic study of patterns and processes that have shaped human understanding, use, and alteration of Earth's surface. Students employ spatial concepts and landscape analysis to examine socioeconomic organization and its environmental consequences. They also learn about the methods and tools geographers use in their research and applications.

For documents, helpful tips, and calendar events, see the itsLearning webpage link to the left.
