Students are expected to practice their instrument each day at home. Violas, cellos and basses may be rented from the school. Violinists are expected to rent or own their own instrument. Please see the Stratford Orchestra Handbook for information on suggested vendors.

Performance exams occur at two week intervals and are considered major grades. A schedule of events is given to students at the beginning of each year and includes required performances  as well as a great many team-building activities specific to Orchestra.
