  • Trip # 8422 offered by School Tours of America
  • This trip is open to 40 Stratford AOF Juniors.  Make sure you sign up ASAP! 
  • Trip Dates:  Saturday, February 10, 2018 - Tuesday, February 13, 2018.  This is an excused school-related absence and will not count against exemptions for final exams.   
  • Register by July 1, 2017 for the $1,960.00 price.
  • You only need to pay the $99.00 registration fee to get your name on the list of students attending.
  • Look at the NYC Trip Information for discounts on cost of trip.
  • Final payment is due December 2, 2017.
  • Consider adding the Payment Protection Program (PPP).  This is an additional $219.00.  If you are not able to go on the trip for any reason, you will only lose the PPP fee of $219.00 and will have your money returned.
  • If funding is available, the SBID AOF Advisory Board will offer financial aid for this trip.

AOF Requirements

Required Courses:

All required class are one credit for a full year.

  • BIM - Business Information Management
  • Accounting I
  • Money Matters for AOF Class of 2018 Seniors.
  • Financial Math will replace Money Matters beginning with the AOF Class of 2019 Seniors. 

Approved Electives:

In addition to the above required courses, an additional full credit course or combination of two semester classes is required.  Below are the courses available.  All of courses are for a full credit except Banking and Financial Systems and Global Business.  These will both need to be completed for the full credit.

  • Accounting II
  • Banking and Financial Systems - semester course
  • Business Law
  • Global Business - semester course
  • Principles of Business, Marketing and Finance


  • Successfully complete 160 hours in any aspect of business as it relates to finance. 
  • Internship can be paid or unpaid.
  • Able to work in more than one place to satisfy hours for internship.

Optional Senior Trip:

  • Seniors that have satisfied all of the requirements for AOF may go to New York City in February.
