Class of 2019 Juniors -

The new deadline for the AOF Application is Tuesday, October 3, 2017.

Make sure application is submitted online and requested paper copies are turned into Room 240 by 3:00 p.m.


Class of 2018 Seniors -


New York City Trip - Register NOW!

  • Trip # 8422 offered by School Tours of America
  • This trip is open to 40 Stratford AOF Juniors.  Make sure you sign up ASAP! 
  • Trip Dates:  Saturday, February 10, 2018 - Tuesday, February 13, 2018.  This is an excused school-related absence and will not count against exemptions for final exams.   
  • Register by July 1, 2017 for the $1,960.00 price.
  • You only need to pay the $99.00 registration fee to get your name on the list of students attending.
  • Look at the NYC Trip Information for discounts on cost of trip.
  • Final payment is due December 2, 2017.
  • Consider adding the Payment Protection Program (PPP).  This is an additional $219.00.  If you are not able to go on the trip for any reason, you will only lose the PPP fee of $219.00 and will have your money returned.
  • If funding is available, the SBID AOF Advisory Board will offer financial aid for this trip.

AOF Requirements as of May, 2017

Four Credits Required:

The following three one-credit classes are required:

  • Accounting I
  • BIM - Business Information Management
  • Financial Math

    An additional full-credit approved business course or combination of the two semester courses is required.      Select one of the bulleted options:

    • Accounting II
    • Business Law
    • Principles of Business, Marketing and Finance    
    • Banking and Financial Services AND Global Business


Class of 2019 Seniors:
If you completed Money Matters last year, it can replace the Financial Math requirement.

     


Internship:

  • Successfully complete 160 hours in any aspect of business as it relates to finance. 
  • Internship can be paid or unpaid.
  • Able to work in more than one place to satisfy hours for internship.



Optional Senior Trip:

  • Seniors that have satisfied all of the requirements for AOF may go to New York City in February.
