WELCOME TO 7th GRADE TEXAS HISTORY & 8th GRADE U.S. HISTORY 1607-1877

Please check this website for weekly planning activities and expectations, test days, due dates for projects & reviews, current documents, and web links. The daily activities in the Interactive Notebook are reflective - the more YOU put into it, the MORE you will get out of it!

All students should arrive to class on time and with their Interactive Notebook and Textbook every day.

All students are REQUIRED to write in their planner daily the homework assignment. There will always be something written for every Social Studies entry. STAY current with your planner! We do have regular Planner Quizzes every 9-weeks! Writing in your Planner DAILY will be the key to time management and therefore SUCCESS in History.

The curriculum for this class is demanding and fast-paced. Please plan for and expect homework EVERY NIGHT and some weekends.  This could range from 15-45 minutes depending on the individual student's use of class time.
