21st Century After-School Program

Spring Branch Elementary CASE after school program started in 2006. The after school program is paid by a grant given to the school by Harris County Department of Education and  the Texas Education Agency. This grant is given to the school to provide enrichment programs for children ages from 8 to 12 yrs old.

We service 100 students from 2nd grade to 5th grade, the program begins at 2:30 pm and it ends at 5:30 pm Monday thru Friday. We also have a summer program starts in June 4 days a week, 3 hours a day. This program is guided towards providing a safe environment to students during after school hours. Each day the students have an opportunity to participate in two activities of their choice. We provide them with thirty minutes for daily homework and have teachers and staff available to assist if needed. Our activities vary each day, from baseball, soccer, softball, dance to strategic board games, math club, reading club and garden club and knitting. This is just a few of the activities that the students are exposed to on a weekly basis.

We believe:

  • In serving Spring Branch Elementary with dignity and respect.
  • That ALL students can learn.
  • Promoting safe and caring environments where individuals and can grow and succeed.
