School Nurse

The Northbrook Middle School Clinic is open from 8:30-3:45 every day.  Students must have a pass to enter the clinic during school hours.  If you need to speak to the school nurse before school, please check in at the front desk.

Our school clinic also serves students of Yes Prep Academy located on campus. All forms and required documents are the same for both campuses and can be found on the Health Services webpage. Clinic hours conform with the Spring Branch District schedule.

Students may not dispense medication on campus themselves.  The medication as well as the form, SBISD Physician's Statement for Prescription Medication, complete with a licensed healthcare provider's written instructions and signature, must be brought to the school nurse before school starts.  Prescription drugs must be in original packaging from a pharmacy or drug store.

Over the counter medications such as Tylenol and cough drops can be given to students under certain conditions. All medications must be in the original container and a parent must fill out and sign the proper form for non-prescription meds located on the Health Services page.  It is against school policy for students to carry medication on their person or in their backpack.

All students must have immunizations current and a copy of shot records must be given to the school nurse for placement in the student's file.  Please see the school nurse if you have questions about your child's shot records.

If you have any questions, please talk with the school nurse in the clinic during normal school hours.
