About Me

I have a passion for learning, and a love for people—both of which lead me to pursue the ever rewarding career of School Counseling.
I received my bachelors in Human Development and Family Studies from Texas Tech- “Go Raiders!”
I went on to study mental health counseling and school counseling at West Texas A&M University.
When I am not at school I love to read, YouTube how to do new things (sewing, quilting, knitting, etc.), spend time outdoors, and hang out with my husband Dalton and my Golden Retriever, Jade!

Welcome!

I am thrilled to be the 7th grade and 8th (A-L) grade counselor at Northbrook Middle School for the 2017-2018 school year. Here at Northbrook we value teamwork, growth, and committing to be better every single day. Our school is equipped with an incredible staff that works hard to meet the needs of each child at Northbrook; we desire to see students succeed in setting and achieving personal expectations and goals throughout not only their personal learning journey, but also their life.

It is my goal to help students here at Northbrook Middle value themselves, others, and the lifelong journey of both. I often remind students that it is not the circumstance that makes the person, but the person that makes the circumstance.  Are you going to let your life define you? Or are you going to define your life?

Please do not hesitate to call or e-mail if you have ANY questions!
