10th Grade Principal Alison Butler

I am currently the 10th grade Assistant Principal and I am looking forward to beginning my second year at Northbrook High School.  I am starting my 17th year in Spring Branch ISD and  I have had the opportunity to work at Memorial  Middle School for 12 years, as a Counselor, Assistant Principal and Volleyball Coach. Just prior to coming to Northbrook I was at  Spring Forest Middle School for 3 years as an Assistant Principal.   I began my teaching career in Alief ISD, during  my nine years in Alief ISD,  I taught at both the Elementary and High School levels and  finished my time  in Alief as a counselor at Elsik High School.

I am originally from Ohio, however I  spent time growing up  in New Jersey and California.  I graduated from Point Loma High School in San Diego, California and later moved to Texas and completed Bachelor’s Degree in Education from The University of Houston and a Master’s degree in Counseling from Prairie View A&M.

I enjoy spending my free time my two children Alexandra, who will be starting high school  this year and my son Blake who will be in 7th grade.  You will find me keeping busy  in a variety of sporting and school activities with my children,  traveling, reading, working out and spending time with family and friends.
