About Me

Mrs. Basquine-Franklin is the grade level counselor for the class of 2019 at Northbrook High School in Spring Branch ISD.  She holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas Southern University and a master’s degree from The University of Houston. 

Ms. Basquine has worked in education for more than 22 years with the last 10 in Spring Branch ISD.  Ms. Basquine has worked with early childhood, elementary, intermediate and high school levels.  This is the beginning of her 10th year at Northbrook.  Her duties include working with students, working with her fellow counselors, families, community outreach, teachers and the administration to create the best Northbrook there is.  She enjoys working with the students and their families the best.

Prior to becoming a counselor Ms. Basquine worked as Math teacher, an English teacher, an ESL/ Bilingual teacher and a Master teacher.

She enjoys spending time with her husband Darrell, her daughters Angelique and Angelica, and her son Jeremiah attending church functions and family friendly events within the city or running half marathons and triathlons with her running group and little sister.
