Health Services at Frostwood are coordinated by our School Nurse, Nancy Musgrove, RN. Mrs. Musgrove grew up in Spring Branch and attended Frostwood! She was an oncology nurse for many years, before coming to Frostwood, but has enjoyed the challenges school nursing presents. Mrs. Musgrove is married and has two grown children, plus an energetic German shepherd.

The functions of Health Services include immunization compliance, health screening, medication administration, first aid and care of ill students, health teaching, and health related counseling. As an RN, the school nurse also consults regarding students with health concerns, who require planning and assistance so they can participate in daily school activities.

At Frostwood, Health Services is about helping children learn how to be and stay healthy.

Studies continue to confirm the effect of good health on academic success. Mrs. Musgrove considers it a privilege to get to partner with students, parents and teachers to ensure a healthy learning environment at Frostwood.
