Communications Department

SBISD Communications Survey >>

SBISD's Communications Department fosters open communication and promotes a community of trust among our stakeholders.

We are committed to establishing a greater understanding of SBISD by providing timely and effective information regarding district news, achievements, events and initiatives.

We believe it's important to support both campus and administrative communications needs with SBISD. Communications is a joint effort, and we work hard to empower our staff to meet the information needs of both students and parents.

When we work together - anything is possible.

The Communications Department utilizes a variety of resources to provide valuable information to our constituents:
  • District website
  • Social media
  • Video and Multimedia
  • Print Publications
  • eNews Publications

Building Communications

If you can’t find the information you need, email us or call us and we’ll point you in the right direction. If you hear a rumor and want to find out if there is any truth to it, call us directly, and we’ll answer your questions. We are here to support students, teachers, campuses, and our parents.

By building communications, and creating a dialogue about what's going on is SBISD, we know that SBISD's Communications Department can have a positive impact on the success of our students and schools.

Our most important job is to ensure we are helping students achieve their full potential.  If that's achieved by sharing information that helps a parent prepare their child for school, or by telling a story that inspires a student or educator to believe in themselves or be an innovator or leader, then we've succeeded.
