About Me

Mr.Cook was born in Houston, Texas, has one sister, and is a product of the Spring Branch Education System. His sister was a Sociology Professor at HCC, retired last year, and moved to Alicante Spain. He has been teaching for 28 years and has a Masters Degree from the University of Houston. At age 17, he was a United States Judo Champion and in 1984, he was a trainer for the United States Judo team in Los Angeles. Mr. Cook was an Operations Manager for various telecommunications companies including Isotec and LCT Communications.

He lived in San Diego for over 2 years pursuing music. He also owned a recording studio in Houston called Tortured Tone downtown where he recorded various artists including Clint Black, Kings X, Sean Walters, Willie D. Mr. Cook has been involved in music for approximately 40 years and has played with many famous bands including Stevie Ray Vaughn, Kenny Wayne Shepard, Honeymoon Suite, Billy Joel, Rush, and Johnny Winter. He currently plays in a band named RagDog.

Mr. Cook is married with 3 stepsons, 9 grandchildren, and 1 son who recently Graduated from Mayde Creek High School as a distinguished honor roll student and will attend college at Our Lady of the Lake University with a baseball Scholarship. His hobbies include music, raquetball, and classic cars.
