Sept. 11 Minutes - All present!
· Nutrition guidelines have affected the TLC meetings! We will discuss how to pay for and what flavors of ice cream at next meeting. Set day and times of this year’s meetings. After school? Fridays? 2nd week of month? Meeting day will be 2nd Weds of the month during lunch.
· Book Exhibit visitation next Weds, Sept. 17 during either 2nd or 3rd period Cesit – Permissions forms must be returned by Tues. Sept. 16th . Am checking with 8th gr. Required PE teachers to see if 8th graders can miss one day.
· Discuss applications for incoming 6th graders. Does application need to be modified? Will change open boxes. Additional meeting to review next sixth graders - Sept. 25th or 26th? Will meet again Friday, Sept. 26 to review and decide on 6th grade applications.
· 14 members from last year. If we add 6 - sixth graders, then we are at 20 – the maximum number. Lacking 8th grade boys… Clay Lamberton – wants to come back? Friends at meetings? Will vote to allow clay to return next meeting. Will look at inviting friends after a couple of months when numbers are more definite.
· Discuss filling the positions of President and Vice President. Explain duties. Do we need to amend the ByLaw regarding the election of officers? Will vote on President & Vice President at next meeting. Those interested be prepared to have a short speech.
