ü Next meeting – Optional March meeting? Only day available is Fri. 13th, Mon. March 23 or Fri. March 27. We could have an optional meeting just to discuss books or discuss your issues concerning the library. Would anyone want to stay after school for a meeting? We will skip the March meeting and there was little interest in having any after school meetings.
ü April meeting on 8th.
ü Helen Nguyen will act as Secretary for the remainder of the school year
Book Swap – Guidelines we have already agree upon – grade level shopping day will be determined based on how many books each grade level brings in; students may bring in as many books as they want, but will only be able to choose 5 the first go around; no non-fiction except Guiness Book of World Records, Ripley’s Believe it or Not or graphic novels; no JunieBJones, no Magic Tree House,
ü Sign up to help receive books during lunch on Monday – Friday (at least 2 students per day) Helen offered to make a sign for table at lunch. Will also need to hang flyers and Mrs. Tallerine will send out E-Flash to let parents know.
ü what about letting the two people who bring in the most books shop first before EVERYBODY? All agreed. Amended it to say that the top in each grade level will get to shop first.
