- Book Swap – Week of March 9 bring in books. Shop the week after Spring Break.
Ideas to improve? Yes for comics, no for magazines and any non-fiction except for Guiness World Records or Ripley’s.
What specific novel titles to exclude? Magic Tree House, Junie-B-Jones, Babysitter’s Club were mentioned. Can you think of others?
Students can donate as many books as they want, but can only take up to 5 books the first time through. After all grade levels have shopped, then those students who still have tickets to use can come back. After they are through then we will let any students shop regardless or whether or not they donated books. All books after that will be donated to charity.
Do you have contacts with book stores that might want to donate to the cause?
We will need to have TLC members work a table during lunch to collect books. Want to have a schedule set up at next meeting.
