TLC April Minutes
1. Thank Isaiah for snacks. Next meeting – May 8. Pizza provided. Invitations to those in good attendance will be passed out. Dessert? Katie S. will do the desserts and Hannah V. will bring juice
2. Book swap feedback. About 800 books brought in and about 80 students participated
What worked and what didn’t. Do next year?
· 5 books is the limit to bring out but still bring all that you can
· Maybe give ice cream coupons to the top 10 donators or the top class
· Teachers books will not count for that class or grade
· Already have a rejection list
3. Next meeting.
- BOGO book fair week of May 12; sign up to volunteers sheet at next meeting
- End of year also evaluation of library and TLC. Be thinking about the following questions:
a. What do you like best about being on the TLC?
b. What changes do you think should be made to improve the TLC?
c. What do you like best about the library?
d. What do you like least about the library?
e. Do you plan on remaining on the TLC next year?
f. Do you have ideas for activities for next year?
4. Prince Caspian movie on Friday May 16 after school. Who would like to go? You would have to provide your own transportation. This is the same night as the Luau . We will see about the next Friday, May 23.
