High School Athletics Season is Under Way

The first day of school for most Spring Branch ISD students may be Aug. 27, but many high school coaches and athletes are already preparing for another great year. High school football and volleyball are allowed to begin practice before the first day of school, under UIL rules, and individual high school sports – such as cross-country, golf, team tennis and swimming and diving – may continue to practice all summer.
