ACTIVclassroom Training

Minimize

The ACTIVclassroom is currently in over 200 classrooms and libraries throughout Spring Branch ISD. As more principals and teachers discover the engaging and interactive lessons of the transformational ACTIVclassroom, these numbers will grow. The first major initiative to put ACTIVclassrooms in Spring Branch schools began with the High School Math & Science Initiative.

With this initiative, ACTIVclassrooms are being installed in math and science 9-12 classrooms throughout the district.

A second major initiative in the district with ACTIVclassrooms began in April 2007 where all Title 1 fourth grade classrooms will receive an ACTIVclassroom during the summer of 2007. In addition, building principals, libraries, and school PTA's have purchased individual ACTIVclassrooms for their teachers and libraries.

The Flipchart

Minimize

The flipchart is a way for the teachers to familiarize themselves with the ACTIVstudio program. Ideally, this flipchart will be created after the introductory training and before any of the supplemental trainings.

The required flipchart should be emailed to  Kary Boan at kary.boan@springbranchisd.com so you can receive your 6 non-contract hours for the introductory course.
