7th Grade Pre -AP Math

01-05-09	No School
01-06-09	Decimals, Fractions and Percents Students will be reviewing Fractions, Decimals, and Percents. Then will be taking a quiz over this information.
01-07-09	Estimate with Percents Estimate and find solutions to application problems. Sttudent will be working together solving a couple and later will work individually.
01-08-09	Finding Percents Students will be setting up proportions to solve for percents. Students will be working on various problems.
01-09-09	Finding a # when the % is unknown Students will continue to solve percent problems and will be solving for percents. Students will be expected to solve accurately percent problems.
12-15-08	Indirect Measurements Student learned indirect measurement and solved several problems in class.
12-16-08	Review- Student will review previously covered TEKS and will complete a packet.
12-17-08	Test The students will be assesed over dimensional analysis, similar figures, proportions, and ratios.

1-8-09	Homeostasis Students will demonstrate understanding of homeostasis by participating in several examples with the class and individually explaining and writing about at least 3 examples.
1-9-09	Skeletal Systems Students will demonstrate an understanding of the skeletal system and joints by correctly placing and identifying organs and joints with their group and individually completing their body packets.
