"Reflections 2009: Beauty is..." Contest
The students have been informed that a creativity contest is currently open to entries. Students must finish the statement "Beauty is..." with a photograph, writing, drawing, musical composition, film/video production, or a dance. Deadline for entry is Nov. 2, 2009. Entry forms are available in the LA/SS classroom. For more information, please visit

Monday, November 16

Objective: 
Students will wrap up the focus on social aspects of culture, while beginning their focus on religion.

Activites:  
Students will continue their RAFT writing assignment regarding Chinese rituals.  Students will also continue their note-taking regarding the Far Eastern religions.

Homework: None

Tuesday, November 17th

Objective: 
Students will wrap up the focus on social aspects of culture, while beginning their focus on religion.

  

Activites:
Students will complete and hand in their RAFT assignments.  Students will review their notesheet information in the form of a relay race.

Homework:  None

Wednesday, November 18th
Early Dismissal


Objective: 
Students will wrap up the focus on social aspects of culture, while beginning their focus on religion.

             

Activites:   
Students will  work on presentation visual for Far Eastern religions. Students will prepare the oral presentation to accompany their visual.
Students will work on comparative readings packet.

Homework: None

Thursday, November 19th

Objective: 
Students will wrap up the focus on social aspects of culture, while beginning their focus on religion.

Activites:
