The library media center consists of a computer lab, a theater, a teacher resource room and an excellent collection of books and audio visual materials. In additions to regularly scheduled library classes, students, teachers and parents use the facility, as needed, since access is flexible. Often there are several activities in progress, such as a story being read to a group of young students by a parent volunteer, a visiting author talking to a grade level in the theater, the computer lab in use by a teacher and her class and a teaching team making lesson plans in the resource room. In addition to the library book collection, there are electronic computer resources, on-line periodicals, a fax machine and supervised access to the Internet to aid in student research.

The goal of the library is to help students become independent users of library resources, self-directed problem solvers and lifelong learners.
