Each year Bunker Hill students from each grade level participate in a variety of enriching field trips. The objective of the these field trips to give students an in-depth being, there experience at the onset of a unit of study. The field trips range from the arts to politics.
The following are some examples of grade level field trips:
- Kindergarten: Dewberry Farm, Oasis for Children and Stages Theatre
- First Grade: Cockrell Butterfly Center, Houston Museum of Natural Science and Main Street Theater
- Second Grade: Museum of Natural Science, Oil Ranch, Art Museumn and Main Street Youth Theater
- Third Grade: Cockrell Butterfly Center, Main Street Theater and Space Center Houston
- Fourth Grade: Taste of Texas Restaurant, Museum of Fine Arts and San Antonio, Texas (The Alamo)
- Fifth Grade: The Capitol Building in Austin, Texas, Hermann Park to the Sam Houston Statue, Tour of Downtown to observe art and sculpture, Downtown Aquarium, 5th Grade Holiday Choir Tour and Galveston
