Red Ribbon Week Activity

Mr. Luck stressed the importance of being drug free and maintaining a positive attitude.

Practice Makes perfection was one of his powerful messages, he contrasted practicing for a game to practicing at school. The average amount of time a player practice before the game is 30 hours, for a game that last about 3 hours. Same at school, we have to study and practice the new information that we receive in order to win the game of life.

Mr. Luck told the students that one of the most important things that sports teach us is the ability to Bounce Back. He explained that sometimes during a football season they lose a game but they know that next time they have another opportunity to win. He compared it to life, explaining that you can use that knowledge to bounce back, you can be down but you have the strength to stand up again and the certainty that you will be better off.
