The SPARK Park Board will hold its fall meeting from noon until 1:30 p.m. at Meadow Wood Elementary, 14230 Memorial, and will review construction on the school’s own Spark Park, which is expected to be dedicated later this year. The Board’s director is Kathleen Ownby. Former Houston City Council Member Eleanor Tinsley created the SPARK program in 1983 to transform public school grounds into neighborhood parks.
