Two campuses make Newsweek's annual list
Memorial and Stratford high schools rank among the top 250 high schools in the nation, according to Newsweek magazine’s annual listing of “America’s Best High Schools.” High schools are ranked according to a ratio that includes the number of Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate exams taken by all campus students in 2007 divided by the number of graduating seniors.

Memorial High is ranked No. 121 in the nation and No. 2 in the Houston region; Stratford High is ranked No. 241 in the United States and sixth in the region by the magazine’s editors. Bellaire High School was given the area’s top ranking, No. 100 in the nation. For the full story on the magazine's ranking of the nation’s best public schools, visit the website at http://www.newsweek.com/id/39380.
