The Spring Branch Girls Choir is seeking choir alumni to return for its annual spring concert and celebration of the choir’s 20th anniversary. The spring concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, May 19, at Chapelwood United Methodist Church, 11140 Greenbay. The concert is free and open to the public. Choir alumni are invited to sing the traditional closing song, Harmonia Mundi, as well as several other program numbers. The Spring Branch Girls Choir is an audition honor choir for girls in grades four through eight that attend Spring Branch ISD schools. Singers are recommended by their music and classroom teachers and then complete a successful audition with directors. Rehearsals are held weekly at Terrace Elementary School. The choir is under the direction of Terrace Elementary’s Tracey Aycock and Katherine Kyle of Bunker Hill Elementary. Piano accompanists are Jane Greenburg and Judy Luthy.
