Summer School dates are announced
Three separate summer school sessions for SBISD high school students will be held, beginning June 9, at Spring Woods High School, 2045 Gessner. Two sessions will be offered to district middle school students. Through the three-semester option, students can earn up to 1 ½ high school credits. Spring Woods High Assistant Principal Rick Rivera will be the high school summer school principal. Kaye Estrada, also a Spring Woods High assistant principal, will be the middle school summer school principal, district officials said.
 
High school program dates are: Semester I, June 9-24; Semester II, June 25-July 30; and Semester III, July 15-30. High school tuition is $200 per session or each half credit; $550 for students taking all three sessions for 1 ½ credits. For students who qualify for free or reduced meals, tuition is $180 per session or $500 for all three sessions. Students who are out-of-state residents pay an additional $50 processing fee.
 
Middle school program dates are: Semester I, June 9-25, and Semester II, June 26-July 15. Middle school tuition fees are $100 for one course, $150 for two courses, and $200 for three or four courses.
