The 30th annual Spring Branch FFA Livestock Project Show & Sale begins Thursday, Feb. 7, with a Children’s Barnyard Ag Adventure and will conclude on Saturday, Feb. 9, with a Silent Auction and Livestock Sale. All events are free and open to the public. Last year’s Show & Sale set an all-time record. More than $136,000 was raised through student sales and project auctions.
This year’s Livestock Show & Sale opens at 9 a.m. on Feb. 7 with the Children’s Barnyard. Student tours will be held until 2 p.m. at the district’s FFA Agriculture Center, 1905 Brittmoore Road. At 5 p.m., students will begin showing their project poultry, rabbits, heifers and steers. On Friday, Feb. 9, beginning at 5 p.m., students will show horticulture projects, goats, lambs and hogs.
On Saturday, Feb. 10, a Silent Auction will be held from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. and the annual Livestock Sale will begin at 1 p.m. For details, please call 713-722-0384.
