In Spring Branch ISD there are four ways to receive technology assistance.
- Review the resources from the 365GEEK web site for solutions
- Visit with a Campus Technology Representative
- Submit and update a work request in the 365GEEK system
- Call 713-365-GEEK for immediate assistance
Before requesting any assistance, please try the following:
- Reboot the computer and/or printer
- Login to another computer and try the application
- Check all cables into the computer and into the wall
- If a printer, replace the toner cartridge
If you have tried these first steps, please review the variety of information from the 365GEEK web site. If you cannot find the information needed, please visit the Comment Box and let us know. We want to continue to add to the site and if you have a question, others do too.
Next, please email or visit with the Campus Technology Representative. This person has training and resources available which can either resolve issues or provide work-arounds until the central office staff can arrive.
Finally, please Submit New Case at the 365GEEK work request system. Things to include which will help us help you:
- Make, model, serial number and SBISD Fixed Asset tag number
- Ensure school and room number correct
- Telephone number and extension
- What you have tried
Remember, there are many options available to help temporarily get things working again without actually having a technician on site. For example, if a teacher computer is completely down, perhaps the Campus Technology Representative can help find a loaner laptop. If the printer in the room or area is down, use coral to connect to another printer on site. These are not ideal solutions but they do help get you back in business quickly.
